DE L'INDIVIDU, DE LA FAMILLE, ET DE LA SOCIÉTÉ ".

Le 17 mai 1007 à 18:30, l'Association de la Francophonie de New York invite le Dr Natacha Kolesar de l'Institut pour le Développement en l'Éducation, Arts et Loisirs (I.D.E.A.L.) à donner une conférence intitulée: " La communication comme élément essentiel pour la survie de l'individu, de la famille, et de la société " Il y aura également des musiciens et un conteur. L'événement aura lieu au Church Center des Nations Unies, 10^ème plancher.

Mme Kolesar est une oratrice qui s’est présentée fréquemment à l'ONU et a parlé dans le monde entier.

Elle est présidente et fondatrice de I.D.E.A.L. (www.idealsociety.org), une O.n.g. concentrée sur quatre des 8 objectifs de développement du Millénaire des Nations Unies 2000-2015:

#3 - Promouvoir l’égalité des sexes et l’autonomisation des femmes,

#4 - Réduire la mortalité des enfants de moins de 5 ans,

#5 - Améliorer la santé maternelle,

#6 - Combattre le VIH/sida, le paludisme et d’autres maladies,

"La préparation des parents commence bien avant conception. Le temps où l’on donne à l'enfant sa véritable éducation est avant la naissance."

Therese Plair cantatrice, conteuse, éducatrice, est une interprète passionné et reconnue internationalement. Elle raconte des histoires aux enfants jeunes et vieux!

Des membres du choeur Vera de I.D.E.A.L. qui ont été applaudis en Amérique du Nord chanteront et nourriront les coeurs et les âmes!

May 17^th, 2007 at the U.N. Church Center

On May 17^th at 6:30pm, the Association de la Francophonie de New York will present Dr Natacha Kolesar of the Institute for the Development of Education, Arts and Leisure (I.D.E.A.L.) in a lecture entitled: “Communication as an essential element for the survival of the individual, the family, and society”. There will also be music and storytelling. The event will take place at the United Nations Church Center, 10^th floor.

Mrs Kolesar is a frequent speaker at the UN and has lectured worldwide.

She is President and Founder of I.D.E.A.L. (www.idealsociety.org), an NGO focused on four of the 8 Millenium Development Goals of the United Nations 2000-2015:

#3 - Promote Gender Equality and Empower Women,

#4 - Reduce Child Mortality,

#5 - Improve Maternal Health,

#6 - Combat HIV and AIDS, malaria and other diseases,

“The preparation of the parents begins well before conception. The time to give the child his/her real education and upbringing is before birth.”

Therese Plair, singer, storyteller, educator, is a passionate and accomplished performer internationally. She tells fairytales to young and old children, such as ‘The Creation Tree’ and other stories of the Heart.

Members of the I.D.E.A.L. Vera Choir who have been cheered throughout North America will sing and nourish our hearts and souls!
